Crashes

Crab Toss

Ecto's still buged?

So i salvaged a exo with BL kit and got 0 ecto's salvage bug still active? --145.53.206.77 14:55, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

From my understanding, the change to get ectos isn't guaranteed. I thought one of the wiki pages listed 0-3 ectos per item. Don't forget that the BL kit offers an 80% chance (I think) to recover rare materials, and only a 100% chance to recover upgrades (Rune, Sigil). --Kristofferus (talk) 15:26, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Ecto chance is independent of the "rarer materials" chance (that only upgrades common materials, i.e. silk to gossamer), although they appear to follow the same trend between the different kits. In any case, there's nothing that gives a 100% chance to get ecto. —Dr Ishmael 16:02, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Bug is not still active. People who did the testing to help ANet realize there was an issue have confirmed the drop rate is back to within range of what they expected.75.37.21.191 16:20, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
