Fear Factory reference

Can we say that it's an evident fact that this NPC's name is a reference to the protagonist of metal group Fear Factory's conceptual album "Obsolete"? For those unfamiliar with the work, it follows a hero named Edgecrusher, and the namesake is one of the record's song titles. As far as I know, the name "Edgecrusher" has never been used in any major creative work outside of these two instances. 174.35.247.117 23:47, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
