Clarification

If we have already done this JP before and just want the new collection item, can we just teleport to a friend at the end of the JP to get the item? (skipping all checkpoints in the process) --138.75.230.51 16:10, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

No. From my little bit of testing, you must hit every checkpoint in order to open the chest. Opening the chest is how you get the item. Using a Teleport to Friend, leaving the JP area, or changing maps/logging out will all reset your checkpoints and you'd have to do the entire puzzle again. Mesmer portals from checkpoint to checkpoint work though. Sacropedia (talk) 13:02, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

Can't be salvaged

Despite the item tooltip, I tried to salvage this today and it does not appear to be salvageable anymore. I tried Fine Salvage Kit and Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic and Silver-Fed Salvage-o-Matic. --Shantavi (talk) 10:05, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
