i found that it has to drop as a revolver of rage. i got a shaman exotic revolver of accuracy. i added a sigil of rage making it the right name. i can not forge the corrupted revolver with it even though it is the right name.

That may have produced the right name, but it's not the right level so it still has the wrong item ID. That's why the note specifies "an unmodified level 80 variant." —Dr Ishmael 22:03, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
