I guess until we know more about these creatures, we cannot really say how they are ranked. If they are ranked that is. Seeing how there are ordinary Earth Elementals, that randomly spawn when facing the Earth Elemental Hands. But the Earth Elemental Hand being mentioned as a 'Greater Earth Elemental' per event. - The implication wasn't that a greater earth elemental is a ranked earth elemental, I was simply providing reference to an existing example of an earth elemental. As there is, up to press, no official page for Earth Elementals in particular, I pointed the reference at the next best thing, which is the page Greater Earth Elemental.
The wiki's for providing information of existing content. I wasn't there at the demo, but from my gatherings, only the Greater Earth Elemental has thus far been said to exist. Darke 21:44, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
- Its been mentioned that ele's can summon elementals as familiars (awesome); "In the way that Ritualists were indirect suppport in GW1, many ::classes in GW2 can support their allies as the Ritualist did. Careful attaching pictures/info about elemantals with regards to the Ele summons glyphs. There are two different glyphs (as noted on the 'see also') but for e.g. the Fire Elemental links to info and pictures of the lesser fire elemental. I haven't seen the Elite elementals so I don't know if there is a difference in appearance/size etc but i'm sure theres a difference in spec...
