Feedback 2021/05/15[edit]

This effect appears to have a slowing effect on the character starting at 20 secs and getting severe at about 30 secs. This makes the jumping elements of Hidden Tower more challenging if you do not get Raven's Nullifier. It is more evident on guard or any character with healing over time as they can otherwise ignore the pretty light damage from the gaseous cloud, the damage from which actually tapers off over time to half it's starting value after 30 secs, but the slowing can be tricky. There is no indication on the skill icon or the combat log of this slowing effect. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, I guess it should be added to this page. --Jong1 (talk) 17:49, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

Being in combat always slows your natural movement speed down, is the slowness you're reporting not just "being in combat" due to the damage? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:25, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
No, I promise. There is a dramatic slowing at esp 30 secs. Slower than a rp walk. Definitely not a regular combat thing. Try it. --Jong1 (talk) 20:01, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Alex, you had a chance to look at this yet? Definitely think it's an effect and deserving of a mention here and a note in the Hidden Tower walkthrough. Happy to do it once we agree. --Jong1 (talk) 08:25, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
So I made the edit. Unless anyone has another explanation I have verified this both in the Hidden Tower and Raven Sanctum on two different classes. I saw Nightsky's observation and I'm totally OK with anyone having a go at rewording, which probably is a little inelegant! To me it seems the player slows down in discrete steps and the final step which brings the character pretty close to a halt(!) did seem to happen at 30 secs. But, I'm not emotional attached to either the wording or the precise times if someone wants to have a go :) --Jong1 (talk) 14:51, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
