Former dev of Guild Wars 2 here. He's actually named after my grandfather, Romke Van der Meer. I was also the sneaky son-of-a-gun that put in all the Frisian names, because 1) of my family and 2) because actually we were super duper running out of Norse-based ones. Icelandic and Finnish didn't really work, so hey, Frisian :)

I get this sounds suspicious, but I'll submit myself to any clarifications you have. My previous comment on Talk was to Ben Tenstrikes, back when I was still at ANet! AMitsoda (talk) 16:54, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
