Feedback 2017/09/29[edit]
Should create a drop rate table research page to allow people to contribute and find out average drop rates. Just did 250 of these so would be a good start.
- Hey, I just made the page here. I'm guessing we're still missing quite a few drops, so I've been general where I can (e.g. T5 gems instead of individual gems, unless you find only 1 or 2 drop). Desolation drops[edit]
Seems like ones dug up in Desolation drop Congealed Putrescence instead of Forgemetal. Also seems like Ancient Surveyors Tools have a rather low drop rate, got 2 over 10 chests. Opened 10 chests, someone more confident than me put it in the drop rate table please. 10 chests: Trade Contracts - 72 Cash - 70c Spirit Shard - 1 T5 Gem - 4 T6 Gem - 1 Hamaseen Cache - 1 Milling Stones - 10 Congealed Putrescence - 9 Common Unidentified - 8 Masterwork Unidentified - 6 Rare Unidentified - 2 Ancient Surveyor's Tools - 2 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 73.54.44.132 (talk) at 02:15, 10 October 2017 (UTC).
- I'm hesitant to put in a section for the surveyor tools because you stop getting them after 10, and the table will eventually be skewed away from them. Do the ones in the desolation have a different ID from the others? If there are multiple chests, then we may have to do multiple tables. Surveyor Tools felt like a 40% chance to me. It took me around 25 chests, give or take, to get all 10.--Rain Spell (talk)
- Got some more, in another 20 chests I got another 5 tools. I do believe chests dug up in Desolation have a different code, as I recieved no Forgemetal, only Putrescence from mine. There is also a chance drops may be influenced by where they're opened, as I opened 3 or so in my Guild Hall and got nothing but trade contracts and a t5 gem, though that may have just been bad luck.

Max number[edit]
Is there a max number of chests you may collect during one treasure hunt? Twice I've gone through it and after 7 or 8 chests my M5 skill no longer pings. Brassica (talk)
