Non-combat pose.[edit]

While displaying town clothes and wearing Boxing Gloves, characters seem to be permanently in a combat stance, even outside of the Costume Brawl effect. Your "weapons" cannot be holstered and your fists will remain in the combat stance until your character begins their idle animations, after which you will return to the combat pose. If anyone's interested, you can circumvent this as follows:

  • Switch to Town Clothes with Boxing Gloves equipped.
  • Enter Costume Brawl (use any costume brawl skill).
  • Unequip the Boxing Gloves, returning you to your normal armor while still in Costume Brawl.
  • Holster your weapon manually or wait for it to become holstered.
  • Re-equip the boxing gloves, returning you to your town clothes in a non-combat position.

After following these steps you will have lost your Costume Brawl skills, but will be able to move & jump around without returning to the combat pose. You are also able to holster/unholster as normal. After a while (several minutes) you will regain your skills & return to normal combat position. You can regain your skills manually by selecting Time Out (skill #6) and waiting a few seconds.

This method has the added effect of hiding any ambient, combat-visible, skill effects that may be on your character, such as the Aegis shield if you need a screenshot with that effect removed. These effects will only be visible in a combat pose. ninestories (talk) 07:10, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Old id[edit]

The old ID was 20268. Better keep it recorded just in case someone has time to make the page for the old item. Some returning player may still have it, after all. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 02:45, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

Does this item change your appearance to that shown in the 2 screenshots too?[edit]

Meaning, your character is wearing a modified version of the Dragon Emblem Clothing Outfit? --175.141.135.34 13:44, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

Yes, it does. User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 13:51, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
(Edit) Actually, after checking in-game again... they seem to have removed this particular transformation and replaced it with two (?) possible outfit transformations instead. User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 14:13, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
