Is it possible that this is not a Basic Ingredient but a Refined Ingredient? since Ginger is a Basic Ingredient as is Oil and the other components of a Marinate? Rudhraighe 14:16, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

I think it was assumed that because this ingredient is purchased rather than crafted, that makes it a "basic" ingredient. Ignoring the crafting mechanics, though, it obviously isn't a basic ingredient - it's composed of (I'm guessing) ginger, soy sauce, and oil. Returning to game mechanics, I'd rather define basic/refined materials in terms of what has a slot in the bank and what doesn't.

Also, this page was posted back in February, and hasn't received any updates out of the BWE yet, so it's possible that this is no longer a purchased item. —Dr Ishmael 14:42, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

I cannot confirm if this is or is not a purachased ingredient, so I left that section on. I was, however, able to craft it, and can also confirm it is called marinate, not marinade still. Simooshy 19:44, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Meinolf Njordson does not offer this as either a recipe nor as a purchasable ingredient. I have not found the recipe anywhere as of yet, nor have I found it for purchase anywhere.

This doesn't work on lvl 175. Most of the ingredients are lvl 200, tough when I place the ingredients non-existent recipe is available. Are you sure these are the right ingredients? This page should be rechecked, too much faulty information, the name, the lvl, the ingredients....
