Talk:Bonetti's Rapier

The trivia says "Guild Wars 1 has a skill called Bonetti's Defense and a boss, Bonetti, named after the skill.". This seems odd to me as I always thought that the skill was named after a person, like Rodgort's Invocation or Verata's Gaze. Are there any proofs that the boss was actually named after the skill? 213.195.186.80 04:05, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

The skill name (Bonneti's Defense) is a direct quote from the Princess Bride, and the boss name isn't, so it seems logical enough that the skill is the original reference, and that they just named the boss Bonetti after. In lore, Bonetti's Defense is named after Bonetti, like all other skills named after an NPC or character in lore (and the earliest source of the skill). In design, the skill was a reference to the movie, and Bonetti was named after the skill. So it goes both ways depending on your perspective.
