Obtaining one?[edit]

Do we know how this can be obtained? Khetnen 13:20, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

You can purchase an Asuran Butler Golem by spending Gems in the ingamestore or in the Digital Deluxe Editon. btw i would like to see the Golem with a tuxedo and a mustache :likeasir.jpg: --Inoshiro 20:29, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
Are you sure the Digital Deluxe version includes this? That one is supposed to last 5 days, not 5 minutes. --140.211.43.65 20:31, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
Oh... yes... my bad. The Digital Deluxe Version is enhanced so it lasts for 5 days instead of 5 minutes. --Inoshiro 20:40, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
I am 99.9% sure that this consumable item is not included in any purchase of Guild Wars 2. It is an in-game store feature that can be purchased, and only there can it be purchased. - Infinite - talk 20:47, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
Again my bad... I mistook Golem Banker for Asuran Butler Golem... sorry! The Asuran Butler Golem can only be purchased in the ingamestore... --Inoshiro 21:33, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Golem Banker is what comes with the Digital Deluxe version. It sounds like the Golem Banker is a very limited version of this in terms of services rendered (only accesses bank storage). During the last beta these Butler Golems were rare drops and they were a one time use consumable. In the video you can see the item disappears out of his inventory after he summons it. <speculation> People over on guru are throwing around wild speculations that a cash shop version wouldn't disappear after use but start like a 5 day countdown after the first use like what is expected of the Golem Banker. With that the golem still probably stays out for only 5 minutes, but would be re-summonable again after. </speculation> User Mattsta Sig1.jpgUser Mattsta Sig2.jpg 21:46, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Delete?[edit]

Delete? This doesn't appear in the Gem store anymore... Should this be deleted or should that decision wait until launch? It isn't referenced in the Mystic Chest text anymore either. Phoenix Avenger 14:31, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

Given that Mystic Chests could be bought for 3 copper apiece in BWE3, it would be amazing to have a golem open as many of them as he can in the five minutes he's around. So either he'll be orders of magnitude more expensive than a Mystic Key, or else he'll be gone in the final release. - Brian Kendig 15:54, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
