This can be hard with thieves - it was much easier on Guardian and Elementalist. The tactic that worked for thief was to go up the stairs and not around left first, then using pistols shoot the bandits from the above balcony where they don't attack back. --Falseprophet 03:34, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Possible bug

I've only done this mission once, so I haven't been able to test it again, but a weird thing happened to me at the end of this mission. I ran up to the Lieutenant, just like the quest objective said, and talked to him. Apparently you're not supposed to do this, though, and the cutscene triggers just by being near him. Next thing I knew, my character was flying across the screen from what looked like an explosion, and I nearly died.

Afterwards, I checked the combat log, and I had been hit by "Unknown Blast" from "Unknown Attacker" twice, for ~250 damage each time. I have no idea what this is, and I suspect it's not intentional, but it's hard to say without more testing. Vili 点 17:28, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
