No take sample option

Hello i need help with this Skill Point, i remember arriving at the "Aging Ale Barrels" and taking sample but nothing happened, now i just found out that i was meant to taste the sample to get the skill point. I no longer have the sample and every time i return to "Aging Ale Barrel's" i no longer get the option to take sample.

If anyone can help i would appreciate it very much.

Have the same problem as above with not being able to retrve a 2nd sample. --Beneldorla 08:04, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

So I'm not going nuts, I had exactly the same problem today 11Apr2013; Honestly I think I encounted both gliches, I never saw a take a sample option; but on my third trip back, there was a drink in my inventory I never clicked one. This is one of the more difficult Skill Points, IMHO, given then number of mobs, fast respawn and minimal room to dodge. If it's had know bugs since Nov, why have they not patched it? Should not making the product we have bought work properly have priority first over the endless stream of special events. SOLVED: You must speak to Volden outside the cavern. He will tell you to go in to get a reward. Then the NPC in the cave will show a choice to try it. The item will appear in your inventory. Drink. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 174.73.98.165 (talk) at 02:55, 5 November 2015 (UTC).

NOTE: I did this, after restarting my game. Volden does not offer me the option to go in for a reward, NPC just keeps asking why I haven't drank it yet. Checked my inventory and no ales. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 121.209.32.212 (talk) at 02:31, 15 March 2017‎ (UTC).
