Talk:A Very Merry Wintersday '12

Has anybody figured out how to get points toward "Halloween events completed"? I figured completing the first bit of the scavenger hunt would make that happen, but not so.

Also, Emissary of the Mad King does not seem to count "Trick or Treat bags opened". I have completed that and no others, and my Emissary score is at zero. A guildmate has completed the aforementioned achievement AND "Halloween Huntin'", and they have one point toward Emissary. 128.113.137.80 02:58, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

I am wondering about the events, too. Have any been spotted yet? Event boss (map icon).pngDavid 07:34, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
My guess is that Emissary of the Mad King has 5 Halloween achievements and that the following achivements count for it: Halloween Huntin' , Halloween events completed , It's a Mad King's World , Attend the Party and Trick or Treat bags opened. . I have 2 and based on how it filled the bar I think there are only 5. When I first login I had 0. Since then I completed Trick or Treat bags opened and Halloween Huntin' and I have 2/5 now. Also those 2 achivements got one more tier in the last update probably to start counting for Emissary of the Mad King (easier solution then to search the database and update the count for players that finished some achivements before last patch). Ah, fantastic. Yup the patch has added an extra tier to the Trick or Treat achievement, which I have not reached yet. So that's good. Still haven't seen anybody who has managed to find the "Events completed" events, so we'll just have to wait and see for that one I suppose. 128.113.137.80 14:46, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Just got the first part of the halloween events achieve, its the halloween DE's that count towards it. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.227.6.8 (talk) at 01:37, 27 October 2012‎ (UTC).
Events in the mad king labyrinth counts for this. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 109.209.129.70 (talk) at 18:20, 31 October 2012‎ (UTC).

Mad king's world[edit]

I've been to reapers rumble (And all the other areas) and only have 2/4... Can we narrow it down a bit? 87.195.101.155 04:05, 27 October 2012 (PDT)

Looks like you only get it upon leaving reaper's rumble 87.195.101.155 04:18, 27 October 2012 (PDT)
I'm at 3: The Clock Tower, The Labyrinth and Reaper's Rumble. The lunatic ground (can't remember the name) didn't add 1. Corsaire 08:33, 27 October 2012 (PDT)
Lunatic Inquisition takes place in the Labyrinth, so entering either of them gives you the same point. A game designer posted on the forum that "There's still one missing piece..." which will be revealed in Act 3 or 4. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 09:03, 27 October 2012 (PDT)
We'll have to "Attend the Party", maybe it will take place in the last location Lymus 09:50, 27 October 2012 (PDT)
I got one when I jumped into the Mystic Forge in Lion's Arch. Haven't done any of the other three yet, so couldn't be one of those. If someone with the other three could confirm that, we can update it. DeirdreGreymoon 01:01, 28 October 2012 (PDT)

Wintersday Achievements[edit]

Someone really needs to make some pages for the new achievements so we can get some more detailed explanation on how to do them. I would try to myself, but I am one of the people with questions.... 173.65.156.104 15:37, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

It might be worth adding that there are two additional holiday themed achievements hidden in the Monthly achievement track: Buster of the Busted and The Spirit of Giving? These appear to apply toward the Wintersday title, as I just got credit for maxing The Spirit of Giving? Aapheus 23:15, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Feedback 2017/12/12[edit]

Despite the release being A Very Merry Wintersday, this was used as the name for the new 2017 (and onwards) achievement category. --— Cronos 03:46, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
