Kinda and no. Shamans by definition are individuals (usually elders in rl situations) who are able to communicate with spirits, in that regard they're similar to ritualists, but in lore (e.g., the background of norn shamans) I do not think there is any link. Clothing is hardly an accurate case for profession, especially since professions of shared armor rating/grouping can use the same armor (in other words, lets say the armor there is light armor - necromancers, elementalists, and the final profession will be able to wear them) - except in the case of town clothing in which case it may be that anyone can wear them (we don't really know atm).
