Deletion[edit]

I'd rather not see this image get deleted, as it is showing a different risen charr model than File:Risen Brute (charr male).jpg. This image appears to be an engineer with mace/pistol, while the other image is a warrior with a hammer. G R E E N E R 03:29, 28 June 2017 (UTC)

I agree on not deleting it. The only thing I see similar is they both have a bony tail, nothing else is the same. - Doodleplex 04:44, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
Hello, uploader here. I've submitted this picture because some enemy NPCs from Conscript the Dead Ships had missing pictures.
This image was taken from battle against Risen Captain Redeye.
A bit hard to get good screenshots during battle, with allied NPC -including pet- spamming conditions to enemies, and having to manage to navigate (and survive?) with "Hide UI" toggled on.
Probably gonna update "Redeye" and "charr pirate" pages to display this more accurate picture. Planning on redoing the Personal Story again, just to make sure NPC appearance isn't randomly chosen (a bit time consuming, because you can't "replay" Personal Stories like we do with Living Seasons 2 and 3).
When I was going to upload a picture for Risen Captain Yejj, I found there was already a image for Risen Asura; probably wrong model as well, since Yejj seemed to be a bald helm-less asura with a hammer (or a mace); my screenshot attempts failed miserably, though, due to height discrepancy (lots of pictures of just the tip of the bald head) and/or conditions visual effects + fatty NPC (pet + Elli's Hologram) blocking the view.
Risen Captain Itnaya also seem to have the incorrect model.
Since people seems to agree that both pictures feature different NPCs and as such should not be considered duplicated, perhaps it would be better to rename them for clarifications. Something like "charr male enginee" vs "charr male warrior" or "charr male wielding Orrian Mace and Orrian Pistol" vs "charr male wielding [unnamed] hammer". I don't even know if we have some class that can combine a mace with a pistol. Sure, Rytlock (warrior) could use an off-hand pistol, but that's beyond this discussion...
tl;dr.
Pictures should be renamed. Might need to review some NPC pages to use the most accurate image. --NIN37 04:51, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
Since you added it initially to Risen Charr Pirate can I assume that was the name of NPC that looked like this image, or was it called "Risen Brute"? As for the story NPCs, I'll look into seeing who looks like what since many story NPCs do have unique appearances. - Doodleplex 03:02, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
As I said earlier, some enemy NPCs from Conscript the Dead Ships had missing pictures. I was looking for pictures for the bosses (Veteran Captain).
Long story short: Asura armor sets are gender-less, while Charr armor set are gender-specific. Found a somehow adequate picture (but not the correct one) for asura captain, but none for charr captain.
Yes, Risen Charr Pirate and charr captain from Conscript the Dead Ships mission should use this image instead of Risen Brute (charr male).
Hylek captain picture seems OK, but human, charr and asura are wrong (should look closer to Risen Thrall than Risen Brute).
I was going to redo the story again to look for missing pictures (most of my screenshots ended up really bad, with awry camera angle / too much visual pollution due to boons + conditions + bad positioned NPCs / weirdly cropped NPC behind obstacles or at edge of the screen / missing graphic elements due to poor performance PC), but found myself short of time, due to real life issues plus the fact that Zaithan story does not allow to "replay" a given "chapter" (therefor, you'd need to do the whole Personal Story all over again with a new toon or find somebody else doing that part of the story and willing to party with you).
So, yeah, picture should probably be renamed to Risen Charr Pirate and used for Risen Charr Pirate and Redeye pages. --NIN37 01:04, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the information about how the NPCs looked, it's really appreciated and helpful, as now I know exactly who to look for that episode. =) - Doodleplex 19:04, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
