Defeat the Awakened General is a level 80 hero challenge event that occurs in The Quickmire.

- As the fight starts
- Veteran Awakened General: Why have you distubed my resting place? Without death, it was my only peace.
- During the fight
- Veteran Awakened General: Has Joko sent you to reclaim me? Prove yourself up to the task.
- Veteran Awakened General: You fight well. It would have been an honor to serve beside you.
- After the fight
- Veteran Awakened General: It is clear you are no servant to Joko. Please let these old bones rest.
Notes[edit]
- Several Scarabs and Djinn spawn around the Awakened General and patrol the area, and if not dealt with beforehand will likely wander into the battle, making it much more difficult. It is highly recommended it to clear them prior to beginning the Hero Challenge.
