Category talk:Ghosts of Ascalon characters
It appears that we will get an article for every word capitalized in Ghosts of Ascalon, including all characters and all locations (such as Bloodtide Coast and Caledon Forest). Considering how said locations may not be part of the game and not even be relevant at all (being mentioned as flavor text), I think it would be worth removing them from the category "Location" (so people don't think they are GW2 locations) and adding them to a "Ghosts of Ascalon" category. Since I don't think the book is big enough to warrant multiple categories dedicated to it ("Ghosts of Ascalon characters", "Ghosts of Ascalon locations", "Ghosts of Ascalon objects", etc), I would suggest renaming this category "Ghosts of Ascalon" and placing everything here. - It may be worth waiting until the whole book is available to us before we decide how to categorise it; one chapter isn't really enough to know the extent to which characters and locations will be involved. That said, the Bloodtide Coast and the Forest are simply passing mentions at the moment, so I doubt they need their own articles.
- I would still prefer subcategorisation, though, just like for any other category to help with organisation. Lumping everything into one category without subcats isn't useful. Just like we have gw1:Category:Nightfall NPCs, we should have the equivalent for books; the book is a canonical and significant part of the Guild Wars 2 world. pling 23:28, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
