Item doesn't reference the vendor mass edits[edit]

Hey, are you sure that "vendor's item doesn't reference him" qualifies as an anomaly? "Anomaly" is usually reserved for something borderline bug-level logical or functional contradictions. I mean, its just a fact that some items from the vendors don't mention the vendor themselves – nowhere does it say in game mechanics that they have to. --Genie (talk) 09:28, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

Considering a lot of heart vendors that I've seen in the game have all their items referencing them, the fact that some vendors have their items not referencing them inconsistently is worth noting. Besides, in my searches through items, I've noticed previously established anomalies that were in the same vein of subject matter as well. Looopy (talk) 12:51, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
If it happens to multiple items like this, it is no longer an anomaly, it is just Anet being inconsistent. Referencing another npc is not an anomaly, not referencing npc is not an anomaly, different icons is not an anomaly, and neither is not having a different rarity variant. ~Sime 13:10, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) In addition to what Sime and Genie said, I want to repeat what I told someone else who got trigger happy with anomaly tags: just because it doesn't function how you specifically expect it to, doesn't make it an anomaly. Konig (talk) 13:15, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
I have reverted 85 of your anomaly tags which I did not agree with (I am instead in agreement with the views of Konig and Genie above). I consider this a nuisance cleanup activity - please stop adding anomaly tags. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:59, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
