You are resting in the Arborstone Inn. If you rest for 4 hours, you will become Well Rested and earn bonus experience. The Amount of bonus experience depends on your Arborstone mastery level.

If you are already Well Rested, any elapsed time will be returned to you when you leave the inn unless you log out.

In the Wizard's Tower:

You are resting in the Wizard's Tower. If you rest for 4 hours, you will become Well Rested and earn bonus experience.

If you are already Well Rested, any elapsed time will be returned to you when you leave the tower unless you log out.

— In-game description

Resting is automatically applied to characters in Arborstone after Base of Operations has been unlocked and in The Wizard's Tower after Astral Amenities has been unlocked. Resting begins with a 4-hour timer, at the end of which a 4-hour "Well Rested" type of effect is awarded, increasing earned experience in the open world, up to 25%. If the character is resting inside the Arborstone, the level of the Arborstone Revitalization mastery will have an effect on level of the boost.

  1. Well Rested.pngA Little Well Rested — 5%
  2. Well Rested.pngWell Rested — 10%
  3. Well Rested.pngVery Well Rested — 15%
  4. Well Rested.pngHighly Well Rested — 20%
  5. Well Rested.pngIncredibly Well Rested — 25%

If the character is logged out while in Arborstone or The Wizard's Tower, the Resting timer will continue to run down in real time. The character must be physically present in Arborstone or The Wizard's Tower with Resting applied at the time of logout for this to occur; it is not sufficient to have the login position saved there (e.g. while visiting a guild hall). If the character physically leaves the map before Resting is completed, the timer will be lost and reset.

The maximum duration of any "Well Rested" effect is 4 hours.

Notes[edit]

  • Sitting in a novelty chair in any map extends the timer of a "Well Rested" effect by 1 minute 20 seconds every 10 seconds.
  • Any effect gained from Resting will override Well Rested.pngA Little Well Rested gained from Resting in Chair.pngResting in Chair. They do not stack.
  • Resting used to be applied only while in the Arborstone Inn. It was changed to work anywhere in Arborstone with the March 29, 2022 update.
Time spent resting while already rested does not get returned. Since resting was made mapwide, characters can no longer leave the area of effect (formerly limited to the inn) without leaving the map, which causes the timer to be lost.
