- Mykel Watts: It looks like a pirate map. Maybe this is where they buried their treasure.
- Zadda: We could use some treasure.
- Mykel Watts: Let's go find it!
- Upon leaving Applenook
- Maw Loudsnarl: Riches beyond your wildest imagination! Just...imagine!
- Shortly after being attacked by wolves
- Chub: The others make fun of me sometimes for being so big. I can't help it. I'm a norn!
- After running into the Territorial Plains Wurm and its hatchlings
- Zadda: It's an ettin! It looks hungry. Here. I brought an apple. You can have it.
- Slugg: GOOD!
- Chub: Hey! You should come with us. What do you think, guys?
- Slugg: FRIENDS!
- Mykel Watts: All right. He can come too.
- Slugg: Slugg good!
- If players do not spend enough time in the blue circle
- Zadda: This isn't good. We should go back. It's too dangerous!
- Mykel Watts: It'll be okay. We can do this.
- Maw Loudsnarl: I... I think she's right. If we run now, we can go after the treaasure some other time.
- Mykel Watts: Maybe you're right. Retreat for now. Run!
- [they run back to the starting point and the event fails]

- This event begins by talking to Mykel Watts in a shed slightly south of Applenook Hamlet Waypoint after he talks to the other Lupikids about the pirate map.
- Stay in the blue circle to avoid failing the event.
