Krewe Researcher Inja: I still say we should have brought some golems along.

Krewe Apprentice Pekk: What about—

Krewe Leader Dobbs: Not now, Pekk. Golems would only have slowed us down.

Krewe Apprentice Pekk: You know, we could—

Krewe Researcher Inja: Shut up, Pekk. I maintain that golems would have minimized the risk of this mission.

Krewe Leader Dobbs: No golems. That's final. End of discussion.

Notes

• Krewe Leader Dobbs starts walking from near Gyre Rapids waypoint when the event is about to begin, but the event itself begins from near Researcher Raekk.
• When the event starts the Rankor Ruins Waypoint will become contested.
• Two collection items can be bought from the merchants that spawn after the success of this event: the Stein of Ancient Dwarven Ale and the Ancient Stone Summit Shoulder Spike. When the event is bugged, the ale can still be bought from the trading post as it is non-bound. The Shoulder Spike cannot be obtained any other way.

Bug:

Players report that it does not properly reset sometimes after the failure of Defend Rankor Ruins from the Undead, and suggest entering the map when the zone is full or immediately after a patch to get the reset version of this event. This was reportedly fixed on 2016-07-27, but still appears to be bugged as of 2016-09-18.
