Lost Journal
Lost Journal is an object that can be found in the Outer Ring of The Wizard's Tower. It is located atop the outer wall, north of the Skyscale Stables.
Lazarus is dead. A ripple passed through the veil when it happened. I felt both acutely self-aware and overcome with the unshakable sensation that I had forgotten to do something. Nothing that would alter time or fate, but something that would be disappointing should I remember the task. It shook me in a gentle way, reminding me of—or lightly threatening me with—what I left behind. Before I could question it, Lady Livia delivered the news.
Thousands of years of watching us die out, and I am the only mursaat in Tyria. The pit in my gut holds little remorse. That part of me died long, long ago, back when the tower was inhabited by myself, Isgarren, and his ideas. To me, Lazarus was the last.
I felt the Eye one last time, in those flickering moments before it evaporated from reality to follow the "final mursaat." Never successful in its attempt to find me—although it'd come close from time to time. Whether my ascension painted my aura neutral, or the spire's gentle buzz shielded me from sight, I'll never know. But now, I don't need to.
I wonder if they know?
