Escort Laranthir and Skybreaker into the ruins is a level 80 daytime event in the Outpost: Pale Reaver Rally chain of events that occurs in Dry Step Mesas.

- Defend the Pale Reavers as they attack the Mordrem Vinetenders to bring down the shield.
Walkthrough[edit]
During the event your allies will attempt to use snipers to remove the shields of Mordrem Breachers as well as kill the Mordrem Vinetenders that appear to heal them. Players must kill any enemies that approach the sniper area or be forced to re-capture it. While the NPCs are always able to reach and attack the mordrem vinetenders, on the third and fourth mordrem breacher they will be unable to reach said breacher to take down the shield.

- Laranthir of the Wild: Rally your troops. We'll track it to the source and kill it off.
- Chief Aviator Skybreaker: It retreated, and it's holed up with a bunch of Mordrem.
- Laranthir of the Wild: Tendrils have been taking our troops. I intend to retrieve them.
- Chief Aviator Skybreaker: I like the way you think. You got a plan for getting in there?
- Laranthir of the Wild: I suspect a few explosives will remedy this problem.
- Laranthir of the Wild: I see you've taken command of my forces.
- Chief Aviator Sk ybreaker: Chief Aviator Skybreaker, 14th Airwatch. I rescued these cubs after their ship was brought down.
- Laranthir of the Wild: Thanks. Can your copters airlift us out of here? Or search for more survivors?
- Chief Aviator Skybreaker: No one's going anywhere. The enemy controls the air, we're low on fuel, and the pilots are spooked.
- Laranthir of the Wild: What was it, this enemy air support?
- Chief Aviator Skybreaker: Damned things forced us out of the sky. Fast, brutal. Never seen anything like 'em.
- Chief Aviator Skybreaker: As for you, weed, make any strange moves, and I'll feed you to the vines.

- Laranthir of the Wild: This is our chance!

Notes[edit]
- During the 07 Aug 2015 beta, this event had a bug in which the Pale Reavers did not actually target the Mordrem Vinetenders. The event could still be completed by killing all 4 Mordrem Vinetenders at the same time manually.
