Emails[edit]
Posting them online will only get them removed. Sysop and another has tried that on gww. Nothing, but drama. Do you like drama? Obviously. Just stop, before you make things worse. That was my intention, before your nonsense WoT. I asked you point plain in email to ask English teachers (in America) - not prove by websites that could be created by anyone. Thank you.Ariyen 23:56, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, now you've brought it to my user talk page. That annoys me a lot, and I hadn't seen that before I posted in Talk:Form.
- I'm still sorry if i offended you in some way, but you are the one who has created the drama.
- Saying that i'm wrong because i'm not American, or that I, an adult who speaks english as a first language, have to ask a teacher (and only an American) because I either can't understand or, worse, have falsified webpages on grammar is extremely insulting. I hope, therefore, that that is not what you meant to imply. If you meant that the source is unreliable because the writer might be wrong about the grammar, then I can say the same about any english teacher in the world. However, I could also provide links to many other websites that back me up, including wikipedia (which I did not use as a source as it is usually thought of as an unreliable one). If you want to show that I am wrong, you must provide contrary sources instead of anecdotes or saying that my source is unreliable.
- Finally, to clarify about the emails, I was never going to post them online. I said that I would forward them to anyone who asked - as i'm aware that posting the entire email conversations on the wiki is inapropriate. I was annoyed when I posted the last email on talk:form, and I should probably not have done so. Thering 01:22, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- "I did in fact ask English teachers - you're the one who claims I didn't. Keep leachuring me - you're not from America, so you don't know and you don't know me. You're only doing drama. " was to Kokuou, not you. Sorry. I directed the second half to you. I should have been more clear, but I was very annoyed by him. I am happy Venom posted his links, but I was wrong. I did not see any where about apposite and I've been looking to get more information on it. That site did explain commas a lot better than any site that I have looked at and I feel that it explained commas better than my English teacher. I'm less confused. Thank you and I shall bother you no more, by the way you can email me again. I'll try not to be rude, if I am - just let me know. Ariyen 02:04, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
