Hello[edit]

Hey, saw your post on the admin noticeboard. Just so you know, the admins here are not ArenaNet staff. If you want your suggestion to be seen, you should go to the Guild Wars Wiki's Feedback portal and create a feedback page to submit it. That's where ArenaNet looks for suggestions and such.

That said, welcome to the wiki! -- Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 22:00, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Your suggestion[edit]

I've moved it here. The admins on the admin noticeboard do not, in any way shape or form, represent ArenaNet. (The wiki is not run by ArenaNet; it is run by a playerbase.) As Kyoshi said, I would highly recommend that you put this in the Feedback namespace, so that ArenaNet can read your suggestion. Aqua (T|C) 01:34, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

I wrote to to the support department about this suggestions and they thought i should present this idea to the administrative / creators of GW2, so I hope you see this.

I know I may sound like a noob, but I have played other mmos for quite a while. With the new release of GW2 coming out, and all the good things I have been hearing, I started playing GW1 to get a basic idea of what is going on. I have been looking all over and trying different key stroke. I am wondering if I am missing something.

Is it possible to look at the item / armor and see what it would look like on your toon, before giving up the mats to make what might turn out to look ugly as hell. The only other info I could think of to better explain is this. When you go to a vendor and the npc lets you purchase a new wardrobe item or armor piece, for the majority of the time, all I can see is this little tiny pic of what it might be your trying to have made. Without wasting material's, you have took so long gathering, to have these items made. Is there a way to view that certain item on your toon?? <ie: <cntrl> and left mouse button) Also, if there is not, that could be a great little bonus to the GW2 when it does release.

Thanks, wait to hear from you, hope you like that idea Brian dth666dlr@aol.com
