One question has been on my mind for the last couple of months after I learned that current GW characters would be able to utilize the "Hall of Monuments" in GW:EN to transfer at least some of their account's attributes over to GW2 - such as character names, titles and accomplishments (to name a few). Since developers of the original game insist the GW will continue to be supported after the release of GW2, my question is:

(1) Will the transference be a one time event? Or, in other words, will I be able to buy a copy of GW2; use the transference function; then, after playing both games for awhile, transfer newly acquired attributes, titles, items, etc..., in GW over to GW2 as they are acquired in the original game?

NOTE: I understand through all the hype now being bantered about that GW2 will be a completely new and delightful gaming experience to those of us who are addicted to GW (smile), but without this feature GW will loose a significant number of gamers to GW2 which could well spell the beginning of the end for GW. --D Terminator 09:30, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Simply put: We don't know. Nobody except Anet does. Calor Talk 15:57, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know either. --User Pling sig.png Pling \ talk 16:17, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
