Translation images[edit]
Unless you plan for your translations to be used on a mainspace page (and sorry, but they look a bit messy for that), they should be named "File:User Arrowmaster <file name>.<file extension>". I can move them for you if nobody else does it first. --Kyoshi (Talk) 23:35, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. No problem. That is what I intended when I uploaded them, and thought that I had put them there, but obviously stuffed up! I have moved them myself and changed the links on my main page, so nothing links to original pages (which could be deleted by someone). Arrowmaster - 07:25, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
About glyphs and other things[edit]
- Welcome to the GW2 wiki :)
- If you need some help, feel free to contact a member of the helper program.
- Writing your email address directly on your user page exposes you to spam bots. Do you really want that?
- About your "happy hour" transcription:
- There's no problem with the word "favorites". Read it again, you wrote "r" two times (you wrote "favorir[ite]s"). Correct your mistake and you'll see that your weird "combined rune" is just an "e" actually.
- I didn't uploaded the glyphs for B, C, K, V & W because I find the letters too blurry on the sign to be correctly reproduced. Some of then were uploaded by other users but as you said, they'll probably need an update later. So, I don't think we should care for them now.
- About the "target shootout" sign:
- If you look carefully, there's not that much difference between the cursive font of this sign and the handwriting of the other.
- O letter handwritten (from "happy hour") is:
------- -------
- O letter cursive (from "target shootout") is:
------- \ \ -------

- Thank you for your welcome and useful comments. Yep, I stuffed up on favorites (I remember thinking at the time that it should be favourites, but Krytans were obviously influenced by Americans... and that might have distracted me... haha). I have changed my email to an attempted "anti-bot" form... (although I have some automated ways of dealing with spam). Yep, I agree on the O letter and tried to express that in my notes. I am just waiting for my Ghosts of Ascalon to arrive (apparently, it is "in the post"...); all might become clearer... hehe Arrowmaster - 17:56, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
