About Nova

Hi, I'm Tr33zon [1] (Known in-game as 'Nova') from the official Guild Wars Wiki. All the information about me can be found there, if you're interested. :D

Things I Plan To Do Differently In Guild Wars 2
  • Well, for one, I'm going to try and spend a lot less money so I have more of it.
  • I'm going to go straight for my higher goals so I don't have to try and reach them later on.
  • I'm going to focus on PvP from the start. In Guild Wars, I prefer PvP but have only recently started focusing on it and this was a big mistake.
  • I'm not going to rely on the Wiki as much, rather find out stuff for myself in-game.
  • I'm going to get the main questline out of the way and then focus on making money and doing World PvP play with my main character.
  • I'll take a vested interest in Stuctured PvP.
  • I'm going to do my duty as a member of the Zealots of Shiverpeak more often; I'll be helping new players and old alike with their goals or just learning about the game.

Things I Like The Sound Of In Guild Wars 2
  • Now I know this may be controversial with some people, but I like World of Warcraft. The main reason for this, is that I felt more immersed in that game than Guild Wars. This was probably due to the lack of instancing in WoW except for dungeons and raid wings. The ability to fast-travel anywhere makes Guild Wars feel kind of disjointed and while it can be helpful, I love travelling game worlds and taking in the scenery. The travel in World of Warcraft was amazing, from mounts to blimps, and boats to underground railways. I am really looking forward to seeing this kind of stuff in Guild Wars 2.
  • World PvP sounds pretty fun. Although I'm not entirely sure myself what it will be like, I love the sound of it. World of Warcraft's other feature that grabbed me was the ability to fight other players anywhere you pleased and this was a cool idea. It worked well, and ganking aside, was a very well implemented mechanic.
  • Raised level cap. I love the level 20 system in Guild Wars, but in other MMO's I love that feeling of progression you get when you 'ping'. I don't even care if they do it in a way that works like, when you pass a certain level, you get no more bonuses. I just love having that number by my name progressing and feeling like I've acheived something for my efforts.
