Shadowfang Mindflayer

Born to Briar Shadowpalm and Diamanthia Dementia, Shadowfang has a talent for controlling the minds and hearts of everyone around him. He studied under his father and his fathers guild from the time he could stand. After the events inside the central transfer chamber, Briar took Shadowfangs sister, Furyblade Rosethorn, and ventured deep into the heart of the mountains to find and destroy Primordious. They have not been seen or heard from since and are presumed dead.

Shadowfang, a man incredibly cynical even in his best of moods, holds no prejudices against the races of the world. By all accounts he despises humans just as much as the destroyers that presumably killed his father and sister. To this end, he sought to become something more than human. In his quest to alter himself, he has met people and gained a following, this following, call themselves the Sons of Shadowfang.

Leadership

During the early days of the Sons, Shadowfang himself did take the leadership of his following seriously. But since it has grown, he has forlorn his position of leadership to continue his studies. In his absence, 2 equally powerful factions have risen up to take control. Thankfully, they are more concerned with the well being of the guild than amassing power for themselves. This has created an influx in the guild leading to it becoming more and more powerful in every aspect of its existence. These factions are led by a Warrior and Theif named Fear and Respect.

Fear (Diamanthia Dementia)

Fear, a peerless Assassin and master of Mesmeric Arts, is the Headmistress of the Sons of Shadowfang, and is the teacher of its less talented students. She helped to form the Sons from the ground up.

As her name would suggest, Fear teaches her students that to intimidate is the most powerful weapon one can have against their enemies. To this end the students that graduate her course are masters of manipulating the shadows and their enemies minds. Her once her students choose a weapon they are forbidden from using any others to ensure that they become proficient with it. They work in small teams that are formed at their joining. They spend every moment of their time in the company of their teams to ensure trust, companionship, and a bond that is equal to that of a family.

The Voice (Darius Dragonpowder)

A Grand Master Tinker and Powerful Alchemist, The Voice is the is Fear's right hand man. He was the first of Fears students and has become a pseudo General among the Sons. His larger than life presence and quick wit has lead him to become a rallying point among the Sons as well as their source of Political power. He can usually be found in his lab, experimenting with new chemicals in his quest to refine his Alchemical prowess to continue to fund both his research and the guilds ever-growing roster of Members

Respect (Dorian Drakÿrus) 

Respect, A Charr Guardian of great prowess and a Warrior of unparalleled strength, joined the sons of Shadowfang upon their subtle infiltrations into politics. His fealty, Sworn to a duke, was sold to the Sons to repay the dukes large debts with the guild. Though despite the troubles his former lord heaped upon him, his sword remained sharp and his shield remained strong, rising through the ranks of the Sons in a fashion that can only be described as Meteoric.

Respect is master of all forms of Martial Weaponry and is the foremost teacher of Combat in the world. Using politics and and public relations, he uses his reputation as a weapon to ensure his enemies stay far away from him. His students, The more talented of the sons, are taught in individual classes with him. One, perhaps two, at a time. He keeps them under a near constant eye, ensuring they do not over-challenge themselves but also ensuring that they learn self-sufficiency. In keeping with this, his students stay on for large amounts of time, until he deems them fit to graduate his training.

The Fist (name undisclosed)

A young mute, adopted by Respect, was the first of his graduates. From the time he could stand, The Fist has trained in the arts of Martial Warfare, and has become the single most powerful warrior The Sons have to offer. Not much is known about him because of his condition, all that is known for sure is that he is a jovial and kind Norn that is slow to anger, Loves Krytan Brandy, and is referred to as "Little Giant" by Respect.

The Employer

The Employer, A creature made entirely of shadow, is the pseudo authority of the guild. When there are problems between the students of the two teachers, the employer steps in, as well, He gives the Acolytes, Graduates of the guild, their jobs.

The employer lives in the shadow realm, able to gather information through every being that enters through the halls of the guild by placing a small part of himself into their own shadows, in a world where information is power, he is the most powerful man in the world. He has a direct link the gods Lyssa and Grenth and can be contacted at either of their shrines.

There is some speculation as to the identity of the Employer, some say he is Shadowfang himself, who has finally achieved his quest to become something unique in the world. Some say it is the Ghost of The Master of Whispers. Some even believe it is nothing more or less than a construct, created by the Gods Lyssa and Grenth and gifted to the guild for their deep dedication to the gods in question. More and more theories fly wildly every day, but as Fear is the only one privy to the information of his identity, no one knows for certain, and those that ask have a reputation for disappearing. One thing about the Employer is certain however, he is not a being to be trifled with.

Religious Views

Through a deeply ingrained lifetime process, The Sons create a Direct link between themselves and their God through extra-ordinary amounts of time spent in prayer, making sacrifices, and mastering the schools the gods dedicate themselves too. Fears students lean towards Kormir, Grenth and Lyssa. While Respects students have a fairly solid track record of becoming Warrior/Priests dedicated to Melandru, Balthazaar, and Dwayna. Their religious dedication gives them enormous strength because it is taught that they do not allow it to cripple their minds or Hearts. They are compassionate to all races and beliefs of the world, but the guild comes first in all aspects of their lives.
