Bio[edit]
Bio in progress!
A necromancer's closest companion is death. In acknowledgement of this, I mark my face with the symbol of a ghostly wraith. Trouble may follow, but I use my dignity to overcome it. I dreamed of a quest that calls me to action. It was a vision of the the Green Huntsman. I believe that the most important of Ventari's teachings is 'where life goes, so too, should you'. The Pale Tree awakened me during the Cycle of Dusk. My name is Treyon, I am a Sylvari necromancer and this is my story...
My Awakening
My "mother", the mother of all Sylvari, the Pale Tree awakened me during the Cycle of Dusk. As the dim light filtered through her home and down to the elegent mound of mosses and dirt that I stood upon, I turned to her and asked 'Where must I go? What must I do? You have given me visions, but I don't know where to start in this real and magnificant world.' She replied to me 'My child, child of Dusk you have been made curious and thoughtful, you have been drawn to magic that I have given you. Just go out son and follow your visions. Love, live, breathe, fight for me and your fellow Sylvari and for those whom you shall love. Go my son, go and bring me wisdom,' I stared and thought for a moment. Then I said to her, 'Thank you for your guidance, I shall go now first through the Grove then branch outward. I will return regulary to you mother and to my family here. For now, I will do as you say and go.' I knelt where I stood, bowing and thinking, breathing, living the life of reality. I kissed the Tree, then I turned away. For the first time I truly felt joy and sorrow. It was my time to live and to venture out into Tyria. I would never forget that first day, when I was awake, experiencing reality, and loving it! That was my first memory, and it will live on with the Tree, my fellow sylvari, and with the rest of Tyria. That day, a special day, began my story.
Personal Trivia[edit]
- The line 'I kissed the Tree, for the first time I truly felt joy and sorrow' is a referrece to Nathaniel Hawthorne's, "The Scarlet Letter".
- Treyon is 3 days older than most player sylvari as the unseen force guiding him pre-ordered access to Tyria.
