Talk:Wool Scrap

I have experience in leatherworking well past the 75 required to make garments from wool, yet, no wool recipes are available to me nor is wool available for devising my own garments. Obviously the crafting is broken but I have yet to notice that anyone from the game admits to this or is attempting to fix the problem.

There are plenty of ways to skill leatherworking in that range. Check Bolt of Wool and Wool Insignia for ideas. Finally try leather for leatherworking.

204.237.107.161 16:42, 1 November 2012 (UTC) Leatherworking does not use wool except for linings. No garments.

What item level starts to produce this as salvage? 76.253.0.17 00:59, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

I don't know the rules for updating wiki stuff, but it would be good to put in that the supply carts in Blood Hill Camps in Gendarran fields are an excellent source of wool scraps. (Also give wool thread, tomatoes, onions and carrots.)

Got wool from salvaging lvl 35 light armor.

From my salvage research much of the time it is still possible to salvage mats outside of these level ranges, however I excluded the levels where the it has a less than about 10% salvage rate. At that point you're going to get linen instead almost every time so that it would not be worth it to, say, buy a bunch of level 35 armor for the sake of salvaging for wool.
