Wait, so you can kill AFK people 5% faster? What exactly does "inactive" mean? not moving? having not used an ability in X seconds? I trust Anet but it seems a tad useless to give a small bonus for attacking those who aren't fighting back. Would love more information. Thunderduck 01:23, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

I guess the best advice I can offer is to wait and see... Aqua (T|C) 01:32, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

i think inactive would be like being dazed and unable to use skills if u get what i mean The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yerby (talk • contribs) at 02:08, 20 May 2012 (UTC).

Inactive means a foe who doesn't execute a skill at the moment. Which is the case while dazed, stunned, knocked down, launched, feared, interrupted, etc. Gnarf 13:11, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
I agree that this would be a good definition, but have you tested this? --Jack In The Box 08:44, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Nope. Gnarf 08:49, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
without any illusion?

I think Shattered Strength is more suitable for Grandmaster tier of domination than Wastrel's Punishment

You think that five seconds of one stack of might per shatter is worthy of Grandmaster tier? Vili 点 User talk:Vili 11:06, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
Yes, i think that 5 sec of one stack of might is better then 5% damage to foes whith daze for 1 sec. If you play with shatter build you can stack 6-9 might easy.
You have really failed to see how this is useful then. In PvE, mobs don't execute skills all the time since they're slow attackers. In PvP, if you're applying confusion to opponents, they must stop casting or destroy themselves. It's not just about dazing or stun. And assuming it works against moving opponents, players who are running away will trigger it as well. --JunBerry 14:39, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

Interactive objects affected?[edit]

Simple theorycrafting question, I was wondering if this trait considered damageable objects (like siege weapons, graveling burrows, etc.) to be "inactive" as a player would be (when not using skills). Has anyone thought of and tested this? --Starfleck 16:11, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

Attempting to answer my own question, I ran around Kylo maps to attack the trebuchet with 24 points in Domination, then repeated with 25 points (effectively without, then with the trait). Spamming melee greatsword autoattack came up with around 288-315, then 300-330, repeatedly, so I think it's fair to say that it does count. If anyone else tries to test this, I think it's worth noting on the page since it has potential uses, especially in WvW and some parts of PvE. --Starfleck 20:17, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
