I've been watching the requirements for this event, and I'm fairly sure that this event is actually the pre-req event for Defend Ulfred until he finds a location for his statue. The 2 NPCs Ulfred and Adis *always* spawn immediately after the completion of the eggs event and run from near the waypoint to the river near the drake nest before starting the latter event. Additionally, I've never seen the eggs event start while the Ulfred event chain is active or on cooldown, i.e. there are Peaceful Grub Farmers south from Grawlenfjord waypoint, and that event has an extremely long cooldown, during which Uldred remains in the cave, Adis stands on the shore of the river and the grawl remain peaceful. The timing and the dialogue of these two events are indicative of them being related and exclusive.

I will try to see if I can figure out how long this event takes to come off cooldown, but my guess is that the cooldown is at least 30 minutes and the Ulfred events are prone to either stalling due to lack of players or entering a bugged state entirely which would stop this event from happening.

What this means for people doing Nevermore (what I assume people reading this page will care about) is that your best option for completing this step is:

• 1) Go to the drake nest in the river south from Grawlenfjord waypoint at the same time that the Frozen maw world boss spawns.
• 2) If you see the NPC Adis standing on the edge of the river just north from the drake nest (she stands across the river from Logi Fishersson), go back to character select and rejoin until you find a map where Adis is not there.
• 3) Keep doing that until you find an instance without the NPC.
• 4) Wait a couple of minutes for the event to spawn. You might need to kill the Broodmother once, but as long as the NPC is not there it should spawn after a couple of minutes.

Edit: This is false. It can indeed spawn while there are Peaceful Grub Farmers.

Just complete the event chain and wait a few minutes for it to reset, and Stop the grawl from stealing drake eggs will start. Ganondolf (talk) 01:13, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
