I think Slash is one of the two default skills when a Ranger first equips a main-hand sword. This would explain why we never see a Tier 1 variant of this skill at the Trainer. (In various footage of skill trainers, Tier 1 is never there, whereas Tier 2 is.) - Infinite - talk 15:33, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
