Well, there goes the annoyance of going back to town for skills. Source on this? --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 17:58, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

I really like this idea. I still don't understand why skills don't automatically upgrade on level up though. --Emelend 20:18, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Oh, I see how it works now. Rewording the article. --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 23:10, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
I understand it now, thanks Kyoshi Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 23:20, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Well, I think that's how it works...but now that I think about it, it might actually just be that you buy skill guides to learn skills...Can someone who played the demo clear this up? --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 23:23, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
If it does what I think it does I inb4whiners; "I want seperate inventory slots for these!" - Infinite - talk 23:31, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
I think you've got it right, Kyoshi. The video I got that image from they'd reached level3 or something. They had the third skill on their skill bar locked but with a book icon covering it instead or a padlock. They purchased the book for that skill and it unlocked the skill immediately without needing to click on the book in their inventory. They also purchased a further book for a higher level skill, but the inventory wasn't shown so I'm not sure whether it ended up in their inventory or not. -- Aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 23:54, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
For something like this i imagine they'd have some kind of separate "screen". Kind of similar to the skills/att scren on GW1. 87.242.140.14 00:27, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
@Aspectacle: So basically you can buy them anytime and they automatically unlock skills for you? Sounds excellent. I'll reword the page (again). --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 01:36, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Automated tomes, huh. Sounds nice. :) If they go into a seperate part of the inventory, even better! That is, until level 80 comes round and all skills would be automatically learned anyway... I think it might not be seperate. - Infinite - talk 01:52, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

This sounds pretty weird, actually... I have a bad feeling about the smell of it, but I'm not sure why...--109.67.40.71 14:46, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

It's common knowledge that skill trainers never wash their hands. --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 16:18, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
As far as I know there's no physical item at all- spend the gold at the trainer and you unlock a new skill or upgrade an existing skill, same as in most MMOs. I could be wrong, though. 97.80.119.149 22:25, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
That's about what I figured, but I think I want some more assured information before I keep editing this page. --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 23:13, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
It would mean the skill is learned when the Skill guide is bought, but not actually useable until the requirements are met. Does that mean you could potentially buy all tiers of all skills and never have to visit a skill trainer again? Would that be game-breaking in a way? Why am I questioning this much on speculation alone already? - Infinite - talk 11:06, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
Why are you commenting on how you're commenting on speculation alone? Seems counter-productive to be questioning something at the same time as you do that same something. --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 15:05, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
Headache! =D - Infinite - talk 16:13, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

Aha![edit]

I think I understand the point of this system now. -- Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png 02:51, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
