negating dungeon trap damage
With use of Signet of the Beastmaster, there's a curious effect in negating damage coming from traps in AC that I found. Some traps (like spikes coming out of ground) still do damage to me, while others (like fire from stone heads) can be negated. --Kgptzac 04:02, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- I think this is because of how it is worded. The damage from the spike traps aren't considered "attacks" and the Gargoyle traps fire like turrets so their projectiles as considered "attacks". The signet says is you take no damage from attacks rather than you take no damage. Just like the mesmer distortion does the same thing. I think you'd still take falling damage while under the effects of this signet too. hmm Habar414 01:19, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
i almost had the math down path for this skill... it was EXTREMELY close to player level *.4 +4 for player and player level * 1.5 for pet... but some levels didn't match up well. 188.8.131.52 20:46, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
negating damage from shout "Protect Me"
Does anyone know if activating this signet would negate damage taken to pet from the shout "Protect Me"? (184.108.40.206 18:02, 28 January 2014 (UTC))
