- It lasts 12 seconds, 15 with enough for grenadier trait. It does as much damage over the 15s as the burning trait, except it stacks in intensity (usually in dungeons, bosses are burning constantly from an ele or guardian or etc). What qualifies as an explosion?
So I did some testing with this trait and Steel-Packed powder (both trigger on explosions). They seem to be consistent with each other in regards to what qualifies as an explosion. I found that explosive shot and mortar skills do not trigger either trait, so that's too bad. Meanwhile, turret explosions, bomb explosions (including those spawned from dodges), mine explosions, and grenade explosions all trigger as expected. And interestingly, glue bomb, fire bomb, and smoke bomb have a chance to trigger on each pulse even though they don't appear to be exploding. So I guess it's not as bad for bomb builds as one may think. 184.108.40.206 02:02, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
