Can anyone confirm my calculations, that with 100% critical chance and under 90% health, 6x Beryl Orbs (BO) [1] (applied to an armor) would ensure same damage output as 6x Superior Runes of Scholar (SRoS)? While having over 90% health, damage output would be cca 12% higher with SRoS on criticals. Without critical hits, the difference between SRoS and BO damage outputs (under and over 90% health) is higher with SRoS (+ additional 2,5%).--Midlo 09:27, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
DMG= power + weapon damage + skill damage + critical damage + extra damage. So, Superior Rune Of The scholar give 10% damage (EXTRA DAMAGE). And is so different than power, than increase the % of the weapon and skill damage. So there is 3 point -1) DAMAGE, your effective dmg (weapon + skill + power) -2) EXTRA, that increase the effective dmg. Ex: you have 100 DAMAGE, the scholar give to you 10% more damage, so 110 DAMAGE -3) CRITICAL, that increase all damage and extra damage. Ex you have 200% critical damage. SO: better increase first: EXTRA DAMAGE, DAMAGE than CRITICAL DAMAGE. This is why increase 10% damage is better than increase 100 power (100 Power = 10% dmg)
