I had the same question so during BWE2 I checked my toughness score with and without the trait active. My overall toughness did NOT increase at all. I only tested this alone and not in a group though so it may only activate when allies are nearby, otherwise it did not effect my character at all as of BWE2. Trait not functional?

This trait doesn't seem to work. I don't gain any toughness, nor do nearby allies. Can anyone verify that it's not working for them? --Emelend 00:53, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Tested today, even in combat i see no difference in toughness numbers. However, I did not check it in a party, nor did i ask those nearby if their toughness was higher. SuPeR NooB 00:41, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
