Talk:Pact Bazooka

There is a fun trick with this one. The Fire Shield has a casting time of three seconds, during which you are invulnerable. If you let the casting time run its course, it invokes the 30sec cooldown. If, however, you cancel the move (by moving or using a different ability), then there is only a 3 second interrupted cooldown. This move makes you immune to Claw's dropping ice, pushing ice, and Fearing scream attacks if you time it appropriately, and if you cancel it then you can use it again almost immediately. I know you don't NEED to do any of this to survive the fight, but it does add a level of challenge to try. ;) Ohoni (talk) 02:38, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

Fairly sure that'd count as exploiting a skill bug thou, since channeling skills should start their proper recharge if their channeling is ended prematurely. Mediggo (talk) 04:28, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
It's been around a while to be a real bug, and I kind of like the way it works here. IT makes it a much more skill-based element. The thirty second cooldown would make the skill mostly useless, since the attacks come far more often than that. Ohoni (talk) 01:54, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
