Must have a minstrel recipe from the map (found in Airship Cargos) to be able to utilize the inscription. I also believe you need to be at least L400 due to Minstrel being exotic gear. 173.53.126.150

Thank you for a quick response, and for not calling me silly for being confused about this whilst appearing to be only L126! I made a typo: I was L426!

Whilst I had gathered (from efforts to research) that I must need some kind of recipe, which you have confirmed, I still don't understand :( I have the inscription, so shouldn't need a recipe to make an inscription, and the recipes which use the inscription don't seem to mention a recipe.. e.g. I currently have the inscription, and an Oiled Orichalcum Rifle barrel, yet the inscription won't appear in the discovery panel. So.. I need to buy a Recipe for a Pearl Blunderbuss? Doesn't make sense, but that must be it I guess...

Aha! It doesn't mention the recipe by the weapon on the insignia page, but if I click the weapon, that page does list the recipe.. Making more sense now :) Recipe cheap enough on TP. Let's see..

Okay that worked. Phew. Seems simple enough now, yet seemed so confusing before :o

So discovery is fine, till you get to L400/exotic gear, then you must have a recipe it seems. Probably says that somewhere, but having only recently returned to the game, I'm doing more 'looking up' than playing!! lol

I won't delete my ramblings, as it may help some other poor lost soul some day... hehe

Off to gather some flax now.. too tight to buy it :P
