Rewards Qualification

Across multiple characters, I was not able to find what qualifies you for event rewards or achievements.

• I did not speak with Blustering Squall before the tournament. I caught 4 fish for and unknown number of points and won the tournament, received the Shore Creatures achievement, but did not make progress on the Something Fishy achievement.
• I did not speak with Blustering Squall before the tournament. I caught 2 fish and did not receive event rewards or progress on the Something Fishy achievement.
• I did not speak with Blustering Squall before the tournament. I caught 3 fish on two characters for an unknown number of points, received event rewards and made progress on Something Fishy.
• I spoke with Blustering Squall before the tournament. I caught 6+ fish for an unknown number of points, won the tournament (on a character that had already received the Shore Creatures achievement), but did not make progress on the Something Fishy achievement.
• I spoke with Blustering Squall before the tournament. I caught 3 fish for 9 tournament points and did not receive event rewards.
• I spoke with Blustering Squall before the tournament. I caught 4 fish for 10 tournament points and received event rewards, but did not receive progress towards the Something Fishy achievement.
• I spoke with Blustering Squall before the tournament. I caught 5 fish for 13 tournament points, received event rewards and progress towards the Something Fishy achievement.
