Hey, since adrenaline is not consumed unless I actually hit with the burst skill, would that imply that if I use my burst at 3 full bars, would I get the 9% crit chance bonus on my burst skill, or is the adrenaline considered consumed before the game checks for adrenaline level for this trait? 208.15.90.2 18:30, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Bugged?[edit]

Is this skill working? I'm not seeing any difference on my character sheet. It is a little bit hard to test, as you would need to have a very low critical hit ratio to see the diffence. --Papa ultra 01:48, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

According to a user on this board ( http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/58173-heightened-focus-bugged/ ), the trait is working properly even if the tooltip is not updated in the character sheet.

Only affects burst skill?[edit]

So I read today a claim from somebody who sounded like they thought they knew what they were talking about, and they wrote that the bonus from both this trait and the similar Berserker's Power only affects Burst attacks, and not any other attack. That the tooltips would be left so deceptive seems rather hard to believe, but there is a note on the Wiki for Berserker's Power that implies just that. In which case it's quite possible the same is true for this trait? As 100% passive damage increases these two skills would seem to be pretty overpowered for the first tier of traits, so it doesn't seem like a crazy idea. Thoughts? Nah, it should affect all attacks. The note in Berserker's Power only states that the damage bonus also affects burst skills. Heightened Focus is the same, most likely, or should at least be intended to work so. So what's this 100% passive damage bonus? I definitely don't see such. Berserker's Power increases damage by 12% at full adrenaline so long as you don't empty your adrenaline. As we know, burst skills don't exhaust adrenaline if they don't connect properly, so the action is right there. Mediggo 06:10, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
What he meant was that the damage bonus is 100% passive, not that it's a passive 100% damage bonus.--Papa ultra 08:19, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
