Regarding the note about only selling/salvaging the sword after the achievement is complete; it seems like you can still open the vaults and all the chests at the end of Treasure Sleuth, as well as unlock My Significant Otter, even if the Gilded Cipher Blade was salvaged upon pickup. Possibly a Kingdom Hearts reference?

Was just wondering what the likeliness of it being a KH Keyblade reference is?

I don't think there's any way to confirm it, but I just found out this sword exists and immediately had the same thought. I've never actually played a Kingdom Hearts game, but I've heard of the Keyblades and this is a sword which is a key so the connection seems obvious. But unless there's other clues to tie it in, or someone from Anet confirms it I don't think we can say for sure. Danikat (talk) 21:03, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
