The mushroom being referred to is the large one that is between the two mordrem snipers. After some experimentation, it appears to not trigger if I use more than one updraft. Just using one updraft worked for me.
I got it after gliding from that mushroom instead. Jumping off near the strongbox. 108.46.6.73 21:25, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
