Tried this one, - didnt do anything. Has anyone experienced any speedgain?

just confirmed. when you have no speed boosts, even outside combat, gain is noticable. 2nd test: compared stealth with warrior under effects of swiftness, very slight difference of speed, but i was moving faster by thise 17% (boosts as mentioned in several places do not stack, only highest boost is taken into account, ea. if you have swiftness (33%) and go stealth with this trait (50%), you move 50% faster, not 83%. That 17% increase is unnoticable, unless you run beside someone with 33% boon. Especially cause it is not 17% increase to 33%, but to base speed. Base is 300 units per second, with 25% speed signet is 375 units/second, swiftness 400 u/s, with this trait it is 450 u/s :) 93.105.39.211 09:48, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Recent buff not working?[edit]

Pretty sure this isn't 50% in game based on some testing with a friend. --Seventh 05:46, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Confirmed, ran with a guildy, swiftness versus Fleet of Shadow, with 4 seconds of stealth and we'd run the same distance in those 4 seconds, while in combat. Also, Fleet of Shadow should give you about normal speed while in combat, it doesn't. Amy Awien 11:47, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Fleet Shadow out of Combat[edit]

Hi, I ran Fleet Shadow vs. a guildmate of mine out of combat in LA (Me: 15 sec Stealth, Guildmate: Swiftness). I noticed, that even out of combat the Speed Bonus seems to be just 33% and not stacking with any speed boosting effects (which works as intended), so in the current state this Skill is kinda useless. I think this should be edited to the "Bugs" section on this wiki page.

Bug under notes seems incorrect[edit]

Under notes, the bug notice states: "Bug: Fleet Shadow bonus to movement speed is only 33% when in combat."

From testing Norn Elite Snow Leopard's Dash, this seems incorrect.

  • Norn Elite + 00% speed buff = 3,911 (unit of distance)
  • Norn Elite + 33% speed buff = 5,064 (39% further)

Out of Combat:

  • +00% – 294 in/s
  • +25% – 367 in/s (+25% boost)
  • +50% – 400 in/s (+36% boost)

In Combat:

  • +00% – 210 in/s
  • +25% – 262 in/s (+25% boost)
  • +50% – 315 in/s (+50% boost)

This suggest out of combat, Fleet Shadow does not boost character speed beyond the swiftness (+33%) value but in combat, you will gain a +50% to your base combat speed (which is some 7% over the default OOC speed).
