is this for each use of mantra available or just each type of mantra? does anyone know?

for real? You think a single trait would give 48% dmg incrrease permanently? Justice 19:02, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
Yes. it is a Grandmaster Trait after all, i mean the Backstab build is pretty much nuts on a Thief because of the trait where 100% of all stealth attacks are crit, you can go nuts on crit damage and kill things like you are a god, so this does actually need testing24.98.218.93 02:56, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
Then test it... I dont have to because I know how rediculous it would be. Justice 23:21, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
Tested myself cause i know this wont go away. no mantras on skill bar and my spatial surges were hitting peaks of 2200 ish but i did see a 2300 something. with 4 mantras it was hitting 2500 ish. 2200 x 1.16 = 2552. The highest crit i saw was 2600 something. 2200 x 1.48 = 3256 and i was not getting anything near that. Side note, 57% crit chance, 58% crit dmg and tested on the medium golem in the mists. I just did some testing with no stat boosts and a steady scepter on a light golem in the mists. I was traited for only empowering mantras. The first test (with no mantras prepared), I was dealing 54 consistently with the scepter auto attack, and the second test (with mantras prepared was dealing 63 damage consistently. 63/54*100=116% damage. That means that it is per stack, and not per use of the mantra available. 76.115.224.15 16:35, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

Compounding power[edit]

Does Empowering mantras stack with the bonus from compounding power? i.e 1000 base damage, with 4 mantras ready = 1160, with 4 mantras ready and 3 illusions = 1240 --Rapid Sausage 05:06, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

yes ofcoarse. simple testing on spvp isle would show that it does. However, your illusions dont get these bonuses so its of questionable worth using either of them vs some of the more utilityish traits. Justice 11:49, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
