If you weasel if via means other than the event, the "chest appears to be empty". :(

Yeah, the "skip" method doesn't work. It suggests that it ought to if you have the achievement -- I do, but the chest appears to be empty. I'm going to remove that from the article.

Was able to claim chest with the skip, during day while Aurora: Awakening was active

Managed to get the item from the chest, during the day (skimmer launch), by doing the lake-dive north of this area. Stoked! 29th Sept 2023 - no idea why or how, but i'm not complaining.
